Fig. 1 — Selection of deletion strains unable to grow upon Q₅₆-YFP expression. BY4741 and five deletion strains after transformation of either Q₃₀-YFP (upper row) or Q₅₆-YFP (lower row). The respective deletion is indicated on the top. Cells were grown on SD plates containing 2 % glucose. Growth was monitored after 4 days of incubation at 30 °C.
