Bayesian phylogenetic inference of the bony vertebrates’ concatenated CNE enhancer data set. Tree construction was carried out by employing 100 CNE enhancers, concatenated in their respective lineages (supplementary table S1, Supplementary Material online). The Bayesian maximum clade credibility tree was inferred using the BEAST package (Drummond et al. 2012), under the “GTR+G+I” model of nucleotide substitution. The numbers on branches represent posterior values supporting that branch. The scale bar shows the number of nucleotide substitutions per site.
