TMEM33 overexpression is associated with increased ER stress-inducible expression of cleaved caspase 7 and cleaved PARP. HeLa cells were transiently transfected with Myc-TMEM33 or pCR3.1 (empty vector) and incubated for 48 h at 37 °C, followed by treatment with 1 μM TG for indicated times.
