HEK-293 cells were treated for 24 hours with 20 μM lysophosphatidic acid (LPA), 10 μM OMPT (an LPA agonist), 10 μM Ki16425 (an LPA antagonist), 10 nM 1,25D, or combinations thereof as indicated. mRNA levels were determined by real-time PCR for the following genes: (A) FGF23 and (B) Cyp24a1. Each bar represents the average of three independent experiments performed in triplicate ± standard deviation. All statistics are calculated relative to the EtOH control, set at 1.0. * p < 0.05, *** p < 0.001
