Effect of RAD1901 on uterine tissue. Newly weaned female Sprague–Dawley rats were treated with vehicle, E2 (0.01 mg/kg), raloxifene (3 mg/kg), tamoxifen (1 mg/kg), RAD1901 alone (0.3 to 100 mg/kg), or RAD1901 (0.01 to 10 mg/kg) in combination with E2 (0.01 mg/kg) once daily for three consecutive days. (a) Twenty-four hours after the final dose, rats were killed and uterine wet weights were recorded in grams. (b) Epithelial height was quantified in tissue sections of the uterus.
