Grouped data of NRI, phase coherence (logZ) and amplitude values extracted from rhythmic (R), non-rhythmic (NR) IPSPs recorded from PrL and DP cells. *,**Statistical significance. Out of the 22 cells in the PrL only 10 received rhythmic IPSPs but 30 cells in the DP received highly rhythmic IPSPs. Overall, DP cells received stronger, more rhythmic and highly coherent to the field phase inhibitory synaptic events.
