A similar anion-exchange fraction (Extended Data Fig. 1a) was purified on a Superdex 75 column (Extended Data Fig. 1b), with the copper content and SDS-PAGE analyses of eluted fractions shown in (c). The band of interest that migrates below the 14.4 kDa marker is indicated in each panel with an arrow, and protein identification was performed on the bands from the 7.0 (b) and 12.0 (c) mL fractions.
