Transplantation of cells and materials

For mesenchymal stem cells, 1 × 10⁵ cells were suspended in 20 μl of phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.4, and injected for transplantation. For IαI, the preparation purified from mouse serum, 1.35 μg was dissolved in 10 μl of 50 mm Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, containing 0.15 m NaCl and injected. For HA, Altz (Seikagaku Corp.) (1 mg/ml PBS, pH 7.4), 10 μl was injected. For TSG6, recombinant mouse TSG-6 (R&D Systems, 2326 TS 050), 1 μg was dissolved in 10 μl of PBS, pH 7.4, and injected. For lysates, 5 μg of proteins of the C2C12 cell lysate in 10 μl of PBS, pH 7.4, was injected.
