Parthenocarpic capacity of wild type (WT) and transgenic 35S::GA2ox/RNAi plants
Parthenocarpic capacity was determined, in two separate experiments, by emasculating flowers 2 d before anthesis to prevent self-pollination (four trusses per plant, three flowers per truss) and collecting ovaries 20 d after anthesis. Parthenocarpic fruits were those bigger than 0.1g. Values in parentheses are the number of parthenocarpic fruits/total of emasculated ovaries. Weight data are the average of parthenocarpic fruits ±SE at 20 d after anthesis.
