Retinal function in TLR4^−/− eyes infected with B. cereus. C57BL/6J, MyD88^−/−, and TRIF^−/− mouse eyes were injected with 100 CFU B. cereus. Retinal function in infected C57BL/6J and TLR4^−/− eyes at 8 and 12 h postinfection was assessed by ERG. At 8 and 12 h, there was significantly higher retained A-wave and B-wave function in infected TLR4^−/− eyes than in infected C57BL/6J eyes (P ≤ 0.001).
