K2 and w3, reported in the 3rd specification, are the averages of individualized K2 and w3. For estimating k2 and w3 for each individual, we regressed ( $\frac{Δ Cortisol}{Δ t}$ ) against 17 variables for ACTH and 17 variables for cortisol. The estimated k2s and w3s are listed in Table 3 of the online appendix. The program that we wrote to estimate these parameters are included in the online appendix.
