Principal component analysis. To distinguish HCC patients and healthy adults, we used three indexes for PCA: V and J recombination usage (A), V subclasses usage (B), and V merged subclasses usage (C). The PCA1 values of testing set were used for further ROC analysis. The AUC values for classifier of VJ, V, and V merge were 0.85 (D), 0.92 (E), and 0.89 (F), respectively. PC1 refers to the first principal component, whereas PC2 indicates the second principal component.
