Ets1 recruits HDAC1 to the id3 promoter and reduces the level of acetylated histone 4. A, ChIP was done using HEK293T cells transfected with either HDAC1-HA alone or Xenopus Ets1. The precipitated DNA fragments were amplified using primer pair 2 (P2) or the GAPDH primer pair. The co-expression of Ets1 promoted the binding of HDAC1 to the ID3 promoter.
