Elongation of the wild type (WT), axr1-12, brc1-2, and max2-336 branch n-2 with and without 5 pmol of (+) ABA applied to the bud shoot apical meristem daily. Treatments began at anthesis, and branch lengths were determined after 5 d for the wild type, brc1-2, and max2-336 or after 7 d for axr1-12.
