Effect of EESB on IL-6-mediated STAT3 phosphorylation in HT-29 cells. Cells were pretreated with various concentrations of EESB for 1 h, followed by stimulation with 10 ng/ml IL-6 for 15 min. STAT3 and STAT3 phosphorylation levels were determined by western blotting using an antibody recognizing phosphorylated STAT3 at Tyr705. β-actin was used as the internal control.
