The SK-OV-3 cells induce a phenotypic differentiation of the CD8+ T cells in a transwell coculture system. (a) The expression of CD25, GITR, CTLA-4, Foxp3, and CD28 mRNA in the CD8+ T cells cultured with or without SK-OV-3 was analyzed by quantitative real-time PCR. (b) The CD8+ T cells in the transwell coculture system with SK-OV-3 expressed higher levels of the CTLA-4 and Foxp3 molecules and lower levels of CD28 than that in the CD8+ T cells cultured alone. The expression of CD25 and GITR was low, and there was no significant difference between the CD8+ T cells cultured with and without SK-OV-3.
