Human veins were subjected to arterial pressure and flow for 3 and 7 days using an ex-vivo perfusion model. Representative Cx37 (upper panel), Cx40 (middle panel) and Cx43 (lower panel) immunostaining after 7 days of perfusion, with or without external mesh.
