Changes in relative proportion of larvae in bi-monthly seasonal larval collections between 1977–1987 and 1999–2008 were tested using Kruskal-Wallis chi-square. Seasonal changes were classified as no change, earlier, or later and grouped by the larval season of occurrence in the NEUS Shelf (A). Examples of temporal shifts include: Limanda ferruginea (B), which occurred earlier in the season during the 1999–2008 period and Lophius americanus (C), which occurred later in the season. * 0.025 < p ≤ 0.05, ** 0.001 < p ≤ 0.025, *** p ≤ 0.001.
