miR-205 affects the apoptosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma cells. The apoptotic rate was significantly elevated (6.92 vs. 15.21%; P=0.03) in CNE2 cells and in 6-10B cells (3.67 vs. 16.49%; P=0.005) following transfection with miR-205 mimic.
