Expression profile of miR-367 and pluripotency factors in medulloblastoma cells. Expression of (a) pri-miR-367 and (b) mature miR-367 were detected in in four human medulloblastoma cell lines by real-time PCR, using RNU58A as endogenous control. Expression levels of non-coding RNA in tumor cells were compared with the levels in native pluripotent cells (hESC). (c) Upregulation of miR-367 in medulloblastoma cells stably overexpressing OCT4A. Expression of genes encoding the pluripotency factors (d) OCT4A, (e) SOX2 and (f) NANOG, 48 h post-transfection with either miR-367 mimic or non-specific control. Expression of these protein-coding genes was accessed by real-time PCR, using GAPDH as endogenous control. Significance level: *< 0.05, **< 0.01, ****< 0.0001.
