Fig 4 — Cells in the 3D-VEC model were transfected with either chitosan or Lipofectamine 2000 or chlipid nanocomplexes. At 48 h post-administration, the tissues were fixed in 10% formalin and paraffin embedded. Sections were immunostained using anti-Ki67antibody tagged with Alexa Fluor 555 and DAPI stained.
