Serum collected at 14 days post-inoculation from each mouse (#1 to #5, respectively) was tested for heamagglutination inhibition (HI) titers against the A/Anhui/1/2013 (H7N9) virus. Median infectious dose (MID50) was determined using the Karber Method23. ND: Not determined due to death of the animal (treated as positive for determination of the MID50). HI titer <40 was regarded as negative for seroconversion.
