Some anti-integrin antibodies inhibit lumican-induced fibrocyte differentiation. PBMC were incubated with 5 μg/mL of mouse IgG1 or the indicated anti-integrin antibodies (specific integrin Ab in parenthesis), and then cultured in the presence or absence of 10 μg/mL lumican. After 5 d, cells were air-dried, fixed, and stained, and the number of fibrocytes was counted.
