Adoptive transfer of splenocytes from ultrasound (US)-treated mice confers protection from IRI. Splenocyte single-cell suspensions were isolated from mice 24 hours after US or sham (no US) treatment and were injected (2×105 or 1×107 cells/mouse, intravenously) into naïve mice 24 hours before IRI (26 minutes of ischemia).
