Purified samples of p3MDO were loaded on a 15% (w/v) polyacrylamide gel, resolved by SDS-PAGE, and detected by staining with Coomassie Brilliant Blue dye. A series of p3MDO dilutions (1, 1:10, 1:20, and 1:40) is shown. A 40-fold difference in protein sample loaded illustrates at least 97.5% purity of the protein preparation.
