NS3 transgenic flies display normal life span. (A and B) UAS-NS3 and w1118 (control) flies were mated to flies carrying either the immune specific Cg-Gal4 (A) or the ubiquitous Act-Gal4 (B) driver. One hundred F1 females per genotype were aged and assayed for longevity. Statistical analysis did not reveal any significant difference between NS3 expressing and control flies.
