Human epilepsy-specific MRI protocol
Slice thickness 3 mm or less
 ➢ T2W - 2 sequence orientations for hippocampal angulation
  ● Perpendicular to the long axis of the hippocampus
  ● Along the long axis of the hippocampus
 ➢ FLAIR - 2 sequence orientations for hippocampal angulation
  ● Perpendicular to the long axis of the hippocampus
  ● Along the long axis of the hippocampus
 ➢ T1W
  ● 3D volume with 1 mm isotropic voxel size
 ➢ Hemosiderin/calcification sensitive sequences e.g. gradient echo
