Inhibition of Der p 2-induced basophil activation by allergen-specific antibodies. Various concentrations of rDer p 2 (0.0005–0.5 μg/ml) were pre-incubated with rabbit anti-Der p 2 antibodies, the corresponding pre-immune serum or a mixture of rabbit anti-peptide 2 and anti-peptide 4 antibodies. Basophils from eight house dust mite-allergic patients were then incubated with the pre-incubated rDer p 2, anti-IgE, or buffer (Co) (x-axes).
