A resonant piezo-drive is being applied to the nanowire while scanning its SE response, yielding to a stroboscopic mapping of its fundamental flexural vibrational mode (scale bar, 20 μm). The corresponding profile fits the theoretically expected mode shape given in equation 6 (straight white line), with β₁L=1.875 and L=150 μm.
