Spontaneous firing, resting membrane potential, input resistance, membrane capacitance, membrane time constant are collected from 17 cells each in the control and SE groups. Parameters of action potential (AP) including the threshold potential, amplitude, width, after depolarization (ADP) and area of (ADP) calculated for 6 cells each in the control and SE groups. Data are expressed as mean ± SEM and compared with unpaired t-test except the percentages of cells with spontaneous firing and burst firing.

*

The percentage of cells with spontaneous firing was compared by the chi-square test.
