Method for calculating percolation diameter presented by (Ashworth et al., 2014, 2015) based on a relationship from percolation theory (Saxton 2010). The maximum distance traveled in the z-direction (L) for spheres with different diameters (d) is plotted, allowing to infer the percolation diameter, dc, the diameter of the largest sphere that can percolate through an infinitely long scaffold.
