The effects of Sox4 silencing on cell proliferation, invasion and EMT in osteosarcoma cells. SaOS-2 and 143B cells were transfected with si-Sox4 or NC. (A) The protein expression of Sox4 was determined by western blotting. α-tubulin was detected as a loading control. (B) Cell proliferation was assessed by BrdU-ELISA assay. (C) The invasion of SaOS-2 and 143B cells was assessed by Transwell assay. (D) The expressions of E-cadherin, N-cadherin and vimentin were determined by western blotting in SaOS-2 and 143B cells, respectively. α-tubulin was detected as a loading control.
