Scheme of iMEMfit: After loading the intensity spectrum, a Fourier filter is applied in order to obtain a pre-selection of number, positions, and linewidths of peaks for the least squares intensity fit. In the following step, the error phase of the complex MEM spectrum is varied in order to achieve best agreement with the imaginary part of the intensity fit. The phase of the adapted complex MEM spectrum is then matched to the phase of the spectral fit by variation of the amplitudes. The resulting amplitudes will be given as input parameters for the next cycle. Finally, the limiting upper and lower boundary of peak positions and widths are enlarged in case the obtained fitting values are too close to the predefined edges. After each cycle, an assessment of the validity may be performed.
