(b) Cytofluorimetric analyses of apoptosis upon propidium iodide staining performed on parental SH-SY5Y cells (WT) and the lowNO G93A clone treated for 24 with DPTA in the presence or absence of the Nrf2 inhibitor trigonelline (0.5 μM). Western blots shown are representative of at least n = 3 independent experiments that gave similar results. Lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and histone H2B were selected as loading and purity controls. Graphs shown represent the mean of data ± SD of n = 3 independent experiments.
