Figure 7. — Co-purification of a recombinant subtype I-F variant Cascade complex. His-tagged Cas1821 co-eluted with Cas1822, Cas6f and mature crRNA during gel-elution chromatography (fractions 4 and 5) which verified Cascade complex formation. Cas1821 filaments were observed in the void volume (fractions 1 and 2). Dimers of Cas1821 and Cas1822 (fraction 8) were identified. SDS-PAGE (middle) and 8M urea PAGE (bottom) was used to separate the protein and RNA content of the fraction indicated in the gel-elution chromatogram (top).
