Tryptic peptide mass fingerprinting of yeast-secreted CRT protein. Purified secreted CRT protein was analyzed by trypsin digestion and MALDI-TOF/TOF tandem MS/MS (upper panels) or nano-LC coupled with HDMS Synapt G2 mass spectrometer (lower panels). Human CRT was identified with ~66 % or ~91 % sequence coverage in S. cerevisiae- or P. pastoris-derived samples, respectively (identified sequences are indicated in bold).
