Mechanism for the formation of calcium carbonate particles in reverse micelles with gaseous cavities playing a crucial role in the process. Realizing that the effects of neglected variables are critical for the evolution of an experimental system is what makes chemical research more exciting than a plot of a mystery novel. It simultaneously points out how small deeds, the ones that are despite their seeming unimportance capable of significantly contributing to the evolutionary path of the world, may be what really matters in life. Because, after all, the entire scheme of science can be from a pragmatic philosophical perspective said to represent nothing but a metaphor of human experiences.
