Notes: The antibacterial activity of hBD1, hBD3, and AMC was tested at two peptide concentrations (2.5 and 12.5 µM) against (A) Pseudomonas aeruginosa, (B) Escherichia coli, and (C) Enterococcus faecalis and with 0, 0.1, or 1 mM of Ca²⁺ or Mg²⁺. Error bars show the standard deviations from two independent experiments.
