Effect of β-Lap on cisplatin-induced hearing loss in mice. β-Lap (10, 20, 40 mg/kg body weight) was administered orally once a day for 4 consecutive days. Cisplatin (16 mg/kg body weight) was injected once at 12 h after the first β-Lap administration. The changes in ABR threshold at 4, 8, 16, and 32 kHz were measured at one day before and 4 days after cisplatin treatment in WT (a) and NQO1^−/− mice (b). *,^#P<0.05, by one-way ANOVA when compared with the control (*) or cisplatin (^#) group (n=5)
