Cyclin Dd expression peaks in G1 (arrows), persisted at reduced levels in early S (arrowheads; Campsteijn et al.²⁴) and was absent thereafter. Cyclin Dd expression was not seen in nuclei expressing the mitotic marker H3pS28.
