WI distributions are shown for the following experiments, where N is the total number of matched colony–Voronoi pairs used in analysis. (b) Low initial cell density (ρlow = 1.5 × 10−4 cell µm−2), exponential growth, N = 340, pooled from five mapped agarose pads.
