Among the wild-type mice, the body weight of H pylori-infected mice (n = 4) was lower than that of the uninfected mice (n = 5); on the other hand, among the IL-1R1-/- mice, no significant difference in the body weight was noted between the infected (n = 6) and uninfected (n = 6) mice.
