Diagnostic criteria for CRPS.1

A history of symptoms or the presence of signs are assessed the following categories:
Sensory Hypersensitivity to sensations such as light touch; temperature; deep pressure or pinprick. Allodynia or hyperalgesia.
Vasomotor Temperature asymmetry; skin colour changes; skin colour asymmetry
Sudomotor Oedema; sweating changes; sweating asymmetry
Motor/trophic Decreased range of motion; motor dysfunction (weakness, tremor, dystonia); trophic changes (hair, nail, skin)
Diagnostic criteria for CRPS are met when symptoms in 3 domains are reported and signs in two domains are witnessed.
Research criteria are met when symptoms in four domains are reported in the presence of signs in at least two domains.
