ATGL is required for elevation of DNL by β3-AR activation in adipose tissue depots. Control (male and female, 8–10 weeks of age, n = 4) or iAAKO (male and female, 8–10 weeks of age, n = 3) mice were treated with the β3-AR agonist CL for 7 days, and de novo synthesis of palmitate (A) and glycerol (B) in TG was determined using the D2O technique.
