The compound 20-HETE glucuronidation by HLMs (n = 44). HLMs (15 μg per reaction) were preincubated with 20 μM 20-HETE in a reaction mixture containing 1.5 mg/ml alamethicin and 0.5 M Tris-HCl buffer (pH 7.4) on ice for 15 min. The reaction was initiated by adding 5 mM UDPGA at 37°C for 4 h and terminated with 100 μl of acetonitrile. The formation of 20-HETE glucuronide was analyzed using HPLC coupled with MS.
