Tissue sections from injured knees of FVIII-deficient of mice 2 weeks after injury, from knees of mice with osteoarthrities and rheumatoid arthrities, as well as synovial specimens from patients with the same conditions were studied for expression of CD105 and α-SMA. Representative examples are shown for A) murine and B) human specimens. Magnification was 40-fold and 20-fold for CD105 and α-SMA. α–SMA, α-Smooth Muscle Acin.
