Births per 1,000 unmarried women age 15–44. Birth rates for unmarried white and black women are not disaggregated by ethnicity, due to data limitations. In 2012, the birth rate among unmarried Non-Hispanic white women was 32.1, compared to 24.4 in 1990 (Martin et al. 2013: Table 16).
