Fig. 3 — Expression of the filaggrin (FLG) gene in Caco-2 cells. The expression of the FLG gene in human colon adenocarcinoma cells (Caco-2) was determined using RT-PCR. Caco-2 cells were treated at 37 °C for 4 (A), 8 (B) and 24 h (C) with basal medium containing 1.0 mg/ml of the freeze-dried water/salt soluble extracts obtained from control doughs (D), without bacterial inoculum, and sourdoughs (S), started with selected lactic acid bacteria, made with FL, CV, CC, LN, and PS legume flours.
