The frequency of the cooccurrences of the 18 disease sites and the 8 Source points and the relationships among these factors provided valuable information regarding their clinical implications. To normalize the data, a term frequency-inverse document frequency (tf-idf) weighting scheme was applied to the cooccurrence table. The indications of each acupoint (tf-idf value) were visualized on a human body template.
