(A): Structural change of N-glycan in human iPSCs during cardiomyogenic differentiation about sialylation, fucosylation, and GlcNAc structure are indicated. Symbolic representations of the glycans and their linkages are shown in Figure 1. (B): The mRNA expression of MGAT3, MGAT4B, ST3GAL3, ST3GAL4, and ST6GAL1 in each cell type was measured by real-time polymerase chain reaction. Results are expressed as the mean ± SD. ∗, p < .05 versus hCMCs, †, statistical significance between iPSC and iPSC-CM, p < .05. All experiments were performed in three independent triplicates by the relative standard curve method. Statistical comparison of the data were performed by the Student’s t test.
